    Take Action Here

  • At Coronado Therapy Group, we believe the heart of effective therapy is the connection between client and therapist. To ensure the best fit, we offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to explore your needs, clarify goals, and discuss whether our approach is right for you. When appropriate, we also provide thoughtful referrals.

Our therapists bring the expertise and experience to support both short-term goals and more complex, long-term challenges. We work collaboratively with you to create a personalized plan that reflects your unique circumstances and desired outcomes.

During the first sessions, we listen deeply, gather insight, and co-create a plan of action designed to promote meaningful progress. The pace and duration of therapy are guided by your goals, progress, and evolving needs. As you approach your objectives, we thoughtfully plan for a supportive conclusion to ensure lasting growth and balance.

Clients always have the flexibility to pause or conclude therapy. If either you or your therapist feels your current approach is not meeting your needs, we openly explore alternatives—whether that means adjusting the plan, trying new strategies, or making a referral—so that your care remains purposeful and aligned with your goals.

  • Coronado Therapy Group provides personalized, confidential, and evidence-based therapy for individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families. Life can be challenging, and we meet clients wherever they are—helping build resilience, strengthen relationships, and foster growth. Professional. Confidential. Convenient.

Why choose The Coronado Therapy Group?

    • Experienced clinicians with diverse specialties
Our clinicians bring extensive, evidence-based training across individual, child, adolescent, couple, and family therapy. Years of clinical practice mean we don’t rely on one-size-fits-all solutions; we tailor interventions to meet each client’s unique needs, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems, trauma-informed care, and other validated approaches.

    • Local focus, community-centered care
We live and work in Coronado. That local connection shapes how we practice—understanding community rhythms, school systems, family dynamics, and the specific stressors our neighbors face. That insight helps us design realistic, relevant treatment plans that respect local values and lifestyle. Working with Coronado individuals and families means we can coordinate care with schools, pediatricians, and other local supports when appropriate.

    • Personal, collaborative therapy style
Therapy here is warm, practical, and collaborative. We build trusting relationships quickly, because effective change depends on connection. Sessions are individualized—goal-oriented yet flexible—so clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to make incremental, lasting changes. We involve families and partners when it benefits outcomes, and we equip clients with skills they can use between sessions.

    • Uncompromising confidentiality
Confidentiality is foundational. All client communications, records, and appointments are handled with the highest standards of privacy. We follow professional and legal guidelines rigorously, ensuring a safe space for sharing sensitive concerns without fear of exposure. For local clients who value discretion, we offer thoughtful scheduling and discreet communication practices.

    • Convenient and accessible care
We offer a range of appointment formats to fit busy local lives, including in-person sessions and secure teletherapy. Our practice is oriented toward practical access—timely scheduling, clear fee structures, and insurance support where possible—to remove barriers to consistent care.

Choose The Coronado Therapy Group when you want experienced clinicians who know Coronado, deliver personalized and practical therapy, and protect your privacy with uncompromising professionalism. We help individuals and families build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

    Out-of-Network Benefits

Coronado Therapy Group can provide clients with detailed statements/receipts for services paid, which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. We recommend contacting your insurance provider before beginning services to confirm coverage, reimbursement rates, and any requirements for out-of-network care.

  • Coronado Therapy Group does not bill insurance directly; however, we provide clients with detailed statements/receipts for all paid services that can be submitted to insurance companies for possible reimbursement as an out-of-network provider.

We recommend that clients contact their insurance company before beginning services to confirm their out-of-network benefits, reimbursement rates, and any required documentation or preauthorization.

Our receipts include the necessary information—dates of service, CPT/diagnosis codes when requested, provider information, and fees—to assist with the claims process, but final coverage and reimbursement are determined by the client’s insurer.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate detailing the expected cost of your mental health care. Under the No Surprises Act, providers are required to give this estimate to clients who do not use insurance or choose to pay out-of-pocket.

You can request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling any non-emergency services, including psychotherapy, to understand the total expected charges. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.

We recommend keeping a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate for your records. For more information about your rights and the Good Faith Estimate process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
